Strines Bridge

Strines Bridge is a foot-bridge, in a packhorse style across the Colden Water.

Constructed of hammer dressed stone, possibly c.17. A single segmental arch with large roughly dressed parapet with steps up to either side.

It's a fine graceful example of the packhorse type of bridge, but which having steps was probably only ever used as a foot-bridge connecting Strines Farmhouse with Colden.
